Our preparations for traveling to India became increasingly intense as the 20th approached. We made it to ORF on time only to discover that due to the severe winter storm that hit the Northeastern US, our flight to Newark was significantly delayed. So much so that we missed our connecting flight to Delhi. The same flight on the next day is fully booked so we have tickets to leave Newark Sunday evening, fly to Amsterdam, and then get a connecting flight to Delhi. We will arrive over twenty-fours later than originally scheduled, later even than our daughter, and I will miss my scheduled appointments with the Executive Director of USEFI and my liaison officer. However, I trust that Providence will cause matters to fall into place.
