A Day in Bangalore

Eight hours of sound sleep: a good way to start the day.  Worship and the Eucharist at the Bangalore Presbyterian Church (and meeting several local IJM folk (future placement for Regent Law grads?)): a great way to start the week.  Lunch of superb mutton biriyani, fresh, home-made raita, topped off by a birthday cake for our hostess: excellent.  Sunday afternoon rest and study with an evening trip to see the Vidhana Soudha (Karnataka’s State House), a mango lassi, and then chapatti with masalla chicken: a wonderful way to conclude the Lord’s Day.
