Two months ago I noted here that the directors of the bankrupt Crystal Cathedral, former base of operations for the ministrations of Robert Schuller, had pulled the property off the block and instead were planning to raise the $50 million need to pay off creditors through donations.
How have they done, you ask? As of August 31 (the most recent data I could find) they had pulled in $4,737. Only $49,995,263 to go.
