The Orange County Register here adds an interesting side note. Some Robert Schuller supporters even at this late date (eleven days before the hearing to approve the sale) want to raise $50 million to "save" the church so it can continue to be part of the denomination of the Reformed Church of America. Funny thing, though, the RCA doesn't want it.
