The State of Law Teaching and Blogging 2012

Blogging by law faculty is now nearly mainstream. At least that's how I take J. Robert Brown's piece Law Faculty Blogs and Disruptive Innovation: The Data (abstract here). HT to colleague Haskell Murray for letting me know about this one.

"Nearly" because faculty at top-50 schools don't blog much (so déclassé, you know). But coming on as evidenced by citations to law faculty blogs in 40 reported cases and over 700 law review articles.

Any glaring oversights in Brown's article? Well, yes, since you asked, he seems to have missed Pryor Thoughts. Guess I'll have to cite myself.
