Go here to read the abstract of Brian Bix's new book, "Contract Law: Rules, Theory, and Context" (Cambridge Univ. Press 2012). I've read various parts of it and found it a model of clarity, a virtue not always associated with academic books. I plan to add it as recommended reading in my next Contracts syllabus.
