The wife was up late a few days after Hurricane Sandy and watched the end of Late Night with David Letterman. Letterman's last act was Andrew Bird who performed "If I Needed You." You can see it here. In any event, the missus was smitten and I was pleased to order Bird's latest CD, Hands of Glory. I was even more pleased after I listened to it several times. Bird is a fantastic violin player/fiddler with a fine voice. I highly recommend this CD. Three White Horses alone is worth the price and I enjoyed each of the other songs nearly as much.
