A while ago I posted here about the podcast with attorney David McGrail about "crowdfunding" a Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Next week I'll be interviewing two guys in the crowdfunding trenches, Dan Gorfine of the Milken Institute and Ben Miller of Fundrise. Gorfine and Miller jointly wrote a commentary piece in The Wall Street Journal (behind paywall here) where they give a short précis of what they're up to.
I think crowdfunding as a means of reuniting investors and their investments in a tangible community is a great idea (albeit with some risks) and look forward to learning more about what's happening. I'll post the link to the podcast when it's available.
