At least one person believes that my recent characterization of the two-kingdoms approach to the relationship of Church and Kingdom here was a caricature. It certainly was a "type" in the sense of Richard Niebuhr's Christ and Culture but I think it fairly captures the distinction (or, perhaps, dichotomy) that the notable two-kingdoms advocate D.G. Hart espouses.
In any event, here's a link to a moderate one kingdom proponent, Anthony Bradley, at the Acton Institute blog, who elaborates the distinction in more moderate tones than I mustered the other day. Although, in my defense, I've posted plenty of more considered comments about 2K theology (here and here).
With this I hope to regain my nuance license.
