PILAR Auction

Monday and Tuesday, February 24 and 25, present an opportunity to get some good deals and support Public Interest Legal Advocates of Regent. And, best of all, you don't need to be in Virginia Beach to participate.

PILAR annually raises funds to support summer internships for law students. Even full-time public interest positions don't pay much so it goes without saying that student interns don't get paid at all. PILAR hopes to raise enough to make grants to at least six students for work in public interest fields in the summer of 2014. Previous placements have included local legal aid societies.

You can read more about the auction here. Go here to see a list of the items that will be for sale.

The on-campus auction will take place in the atrium of Robertson Hall on Monday and Tuesday, February 24 and 25 from 10:00am-2:00pm. It will be a silent auction so come to check items often to keep your place as high bidder.

If you aren't in the vicinity, you can bid via Facebook, although you'll need to make your own arrangements for picking up what you've purchased.
