Two Visiting Professor Slots at Campbell Law


Property Visiting Professor
CAMPBELL UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW invites applications for a Visiting Faculty Position to begin on or about August 14, 2020 and end on or about May 14, 2021, teaching property law, wills/trusts, and related upper-level courses. The position will be a temporary, full-time, two-semester, non-tenure track appointment. All applicants should have excellent academic credentials and demonstrated skill in teaching and mentoring students. LRW Visiting Professor
CAMPBELL UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW invites applications for a Visiting LRW Professor position, from July 2020 to May 2021, teaching two sections each of Legal Research and Writing I and II. LRW faculty provide students with continuous feedback on their legal writing through individual meetings and ample written critique on finished work. LRW faculty collaborate with the LRW Director to prepare problems, assignments, and in-class exercises for a uniform curriculum. Faculty may enhance the core curriculum through topics of their choice, with the approval of the Director. The position will be a temporary, full-time, two-semester, non-tenure track appointment.  We seek candidates with excellent academic credentials, demonstrated skill in teaching and mentoring students, and some experience in law practice or a judicial clerkship. We welcome applications from candidates whose background will contribute to excellence through institutional diversity.
