We went to the Regent University production of “Leaving Iowa,” a play written by Spike Manton and Tim Clue, Saturday a week ago. Superb acting, simple but effective props and staging. An all-around pleasant way to spend an evening.
Sentimental (especially for folks like me who have actually lived in and left Iowa) with some tendencies toward sentimentalism but a reminder that our childhood conflicts are usually much ado about nothing and that reconciliation, even post-mortem, is a good thing.
