I had the opportunity to moderate a call-in teleconference on the current state of Chapter 9 bankruptcies. Chapter 9 provides a forum for relief of insolvent municipalities, which include school districts, water and sewerage districts, as well as cities, towns, counties, etc. You can link to a more detailed post about it on The Faculty Lounge blog here.
