Monday night (Christmas Eve eve) most of the family dined at Lemon Cuisine of India in Richmond. Our favorite Tidewater Indian restaurant is India Palace Restaurant and its prices are a bit lower than Lemon Cuisine's but we greatly enjoyed the hara bhara kebab and tandoor samplers as appetizers. I'm glad I took our server Hassam's recommendation for the achari chicken korma because it was superb. By all reports the chicken biryani and palak paneer were also excellent and the naan, both garlic and plain, were better than others we've eaten. If memory serves the selection of Indian beers at India Palace was greater but if you're in or near Richmond be certain check out Lemon Cuisine.
